I prefer a more marshmallow-y bar, so I use only 5 cups of cereal. If you like a slightly drier bar, you can feel free to use up to 6 cups in the recipe below. It's fine to substitute chocolate chips for chocolate chunks, the chunks just remind me more of s'mores!

About This Recipe
Yield:
Serves 20
Active time:
15 minutes
Total time:
1 hour
Special equipment:
13 x 9 pan, large microwave-safe bowl, wax paper
Ingredients
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 1/2 cups minimarshmallow (10 ounces)
5-6 cups Golden Grahams cereal
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Procedures
Grease your pan with butter and set aside. Add remaining butter to a large microwave-safe bowl. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high in 15 second bursts until the butter is melted. Add marshmallows and stir to coat. Cover and return mixture to microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds or until marshmallows are completely melted and gooey (keep a close eye on the process to make sure you don't end up with a marshmallow covered microwave!).
Stir melted marshmallow and butter mixture to completely distribute the butter. Then stir in Golden Grahams cereal and chocolate chunks. Transfer cereal mixture to greased pan and use a large sheet of wax paper to press the mixture into the bottom of the pan. Let cool about 45 minutes or until cooled completely then cut into squares and serve.
