This tart shake gets its sweetness from frozen strawberries and the floral liqueur Crème Yvette.

Note: Use full-fat buttermilk, if you can find it. (The more readily available low-fat will work too.)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (4 ounces) whole frozen strawberries
  • 2 1/2 ounces Crème Yvette
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Procedures

  1. Blend strawberries, Crème Yvette, and buttermilk in a blender on high speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
