Gin may not be the first spirit that comes to mind for a boozy milkshake, but sweet blueberries and herbal gin are a perfect match, making for a boozy shake that is slightly more sophisticated.
Note: Grade B maple syrup is preferable here because of its deeper maple flavor. Let the ice cream sit out at room temperature until easily scoopable, about 5 minutes.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1 1/2 ounces gin, such as Beefeater
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Procedures
Add the blueberries and gin to the blender. Pulse a few times then puree on medium high speed until smooth and no large pieces of blueberry skin are be visible, about 30 seconds.
Add ice cream and maple syrup and blend on medium high speed just until smooth, about 30 seconds. Serve immediately.
