Ingredients - 1 cup pitted sweet cherries, halved
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon juice from 1 lemon, plus 1 small lemon, halved and thinly sliced into thin half moons
- 2 1/4 cups red wine
- 6 ounces Cherry Heering
- 3/4 cup seltzer, chilled
Procedures -
Combine the cherries, sugar, and lemon juice in a large pitcher. Stir to combine and let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes for the cherries to release some of their juices. -
Add red wine and Cherry Heering to the pitcher and refrigerate 2 hours or up to overnight. -
Stir in cold seltzer and the lemon wheels and serve immediately.
